According to the regulation that is active at Sept. 2018; purchase of at least 250.000 USD worth real estate is enough to obtain Turkish Citizenship. It was 1 million US Dollars before September 2018. Foreigners who buy real estate in the amount of 250.000 US Dollars and keep it for 3 years will be able to get citizenship immediately. During this 3 years the applicant do not have to reside in Turkey. Due-diligence is made for the value of the property by the licensed appraisers assuring that it worth at least 250.000 USD.  The Regulation on the Application of Turkish Citizenship Law, has been published on the Official Gazette dated 19.09.2018 and entered into force. According to the new law, the conditions that are stipulated for the foreigners to become eligible to acquire Turkish citizenship has eased.
